Your
retirement may seem a long way off, but now is the time to start
planning. If you are prepared - emotionally and financially - you
will enjoy your retirement years to the fullest.
Although
you'll have much more time for special people and activities when
you retire, you may miss your friends and duties at work. You might
even miss the daily stress.
Mixed
feelings are a natural part of retirement. If you know what to expect,
the adjustment will be easy.
We can
help!
We
can help you prepare for retirement through our one-day Retirement
Planning Workshops, designed especially for Omaha Public School
employees.
You'll
receive practical tips on how to prepare for the changes you - and
your loved ones - will experience. Changes in your income. Your
life-style. Your feelings.
What
about finances? Do you need to adjust the way you save and invest
your paycheck? Will you want to travel? Should you move to a retirement
villa? Or closer to your grandchildren?
If
you are a regular full-time employee of the Omaha Public Schools
who is at least 50 years of age you are eligable to participate
in two workshops during your career which are held during duty hours.
There is no restriction on the number of workshops you may attend
during non-duty hours or while using vacation time.
Substitutes
When
