Gaining
control of your financial affairs can appear to be an enormous challenge.
How does my health insurance work? How will the bills get paid if
I'm laid up and can't work? What is the Plan 125 program and how
will it really help me? Should I be investing in a Tax Sheltered
Annuity now? How will I save enough money to help my kids get through
college? Do I need a will now? How can I be sure I don't still have
house payments when I'm ready to retire? What will my retirement
plan provide? What can I expect from Social Security?
If
you have asked any of these questions, now is the time to get started
on the answers. This workshop is designed for employees who are
more than ten years from retirement. You can reach your financial
goals if you choose to get organized now and take control of your
financial future.
We can
help!
We can help you take control of your financial future with one of our four Financial Planning Workshops, designed especially for Omaha Public School employees.
You'll
receive practical tips on establishing financial goals, cash flow
management, fundamentals of investing, protecting your assets, strategies
for reaching future goals such as college education for your children
and paying for your home before you retire.
At
each workshop we will provide a planning book, handouts, coffee,
and refreshments.
Enrollment
is limited at each workshop, so register early!
Who
may attend?
If
you are a regular full-time employee of the Omaha Public Schools
who is less than 50 years of age you are invited to participate.
If you attend during duty hours, you will need to use vacation time.
If
you are married, encourage your spouse to enroll also. Financial
planning should be a team affair.
